Registered home sales during the first quarter increased 13.6% over the previous quarter
16th June 2021During the first quarter of the year, with respect to the proportion of flats and single-family homes, the results have provided a different scenario to other periods, the sale of housing during the first quarter has been broken down into 79.0% of collective housing (flats ) and 21.0% for single-family homes, which fell after a few quarters with intense growth and which in the previous quarter reached the historical maximum with 22.5% of the total. Despite this quarterly decline, the result achieved is remarkable insofar as, except for the two preceding quarters, in the rest of the historical series, the weight of single-family homes had always been below 20%. In any case, they remain at historically high figures, which will foreseeably remain as the demand for housing with a larger interior and exterior surface continues, as well as greater flexibility in its location, both factors that favor family housing.
